ČESMAD BOHEMIA, the association of road transport operators, is the largest association of carriers operating in the national and international carriage of goods and passengers in the Czech Republic.

Presently, it has more than 2000 members operating close to 20 000 vehicles.

 

The clout and many years´experience exerted by the Association make it an indispensable contributor in the production and amendment of legislation on road transport and intergovernmental agreements and treaties in this field.

As a member of the IRU, the International Road Transport Union, the Association has a voice influencing important international standards and legislation within European Union. In the Czech Republic, it also plays the role of a guaranteeing association in accordance with TIR Customs Convention. 

The Association´s mission is to nurture the development and prosperity of road transport and promote transport operator´s interests. The Association campaigns for sound road transport conditions and defense the interests of its members in the Czech Republic and throughout the world.

The Association offers its members comprehensive business services. It provides vocational training and consulting. It maintains an active information system and procedures publications, manuals, the industry periodical Transport and an electronic newsletter.
 
Through its regional office, the Association provides quality, reliable services in economic hubs throughout the Czech Republic – in Praha, Brno, Ostrava, Hradec Králové, Ústí nad Labem, České Budějovice and Plzeň.
